Jim’s Auburn Roots

“My wife and I attended Auburn in the mid 1980s and we now both work for the university. That makes it even more special that all three of our children are currently attending Auburn. We love living in the loveliest village and being a part of the Auburn family.”

Rebecca serves as Program Developer and Camp Manager for Auburn Youth Programs.

Rebecca has her B.A. in Biology from Valdosta State University and an M.S. in Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Aquatic Sciences from Auburn University. Throughout her college career and after, she helped organize and deliver STEM Outreach programs and was heavily involved in facilitating outdoor recreation programs. In her role, Rebecca primarily provides year-round assistance to schools and organizations looking to bring youth groups to Auburn University for camps and academic programs, while occasionally coordinating summer camps with Auburn University faculty.

Rebecca’s Auburn Roots

“Because both of my parents attended Auburn University, I’ve been visiting Auburn since I can remember. Growing up as a part of the Auburn Family and seeing how people connected only by the University treated each other so lovingly and with respect has always been such a rewarding experience. One could only imagine how overjoyed I was to finally attend Auburn University for graduate school. My husband and I love this community so much that we decided to stay and call Auburn home. Welcome, and War Eagle!”

Meet Carlie:

Carlie serves as Program Developer and Camp Manager for Auburn Youth Programs.

Carlie earned both her B.S. and M.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from Auburn University. In her role with Auburn Youth Programs, she coordinates middle and high school academic summer camps in partnership with Auburn University faculty and staff. Carlie enjoys interacting with campers’ families both on the phone and on the Plains.

Carlie’s Auburn Roots

“My dad is an Auburn alum, and we toured campus my junior year of high school. I immediately knew I could call Auburn University my home for college, but now Auburn has become my home for good! Whether this is your first time visiting Auburn University or you have been saying War Eagle since birth, I look forward to showing you what life at Auburn is like while you’re at camp.”

Auburn Youth Programs works as a team to make Auburn your home away from home every summer at our camps. As soon as you step foot onto campus it is our privilege to get to know all of you, and we cannot wait to welcome you into the Auburn Family this summer!

If you have not had the opportunity to sign up for an AYP camp this summer it is not too late!
